One of the top smartphones companies, Xiaomi, is expected to drop its latest flagship Xiaomi Mi 7 in the early year 2018. The next year flagship is the successor to the 2017’s flagship model Xiaomi Mi 6.
The device is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM with a 6.01-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The leaked specifications suggest Xiaomi Mi 7 will rock 16 MP rear dual camera setup as the usual trend. Also will go for full bezel-less display like company’s in-house Mi Mix series.
However, according to the reports leaked on the Chinese Website, the machine won’t be sporting a FaceID-like feature. Xiaomi believes the 3D face recognition technology needs to be more refined before running it on their company devices.
Xiaomi Mi 7 might get a ceramic body like its successor Mi 6 and the Mix Series. The phone could run for CNY 2699 ( around USD 410).
