Honor, the sub-brand from Huawei, is known for the mid-range budget smartphones. And now, Honor has new Honor 7X, announced on October, confirmed to launch worldwide outside the China.
The device, Honor 7X, maintaining the legacy of its predecessor Honor 6X, comes with the premium look of metal. Honor 7X sports a larger screen than that of the Honor 6X, 5.93 inch display. And has a Full HD+ resolution (2160 x 1080 pixels) and an elonged 18:9 aspect ratio just like the Galaxy S8, except Honor 7X has larger and visible bezels.
Honor 7X uses company’s production SoC; the Kirin 659 chipset and 4GB of RAM. Honor 7X is available in three variants; 32 GB, 64 GB and whopping 128 GB of storage models. However, the device, Honor 7X, storage can support 256 GB expansion with a microSD card.
The device follows the trend of dual camera setup and features 16 MP and 2 MP rear cameras, allowing you to capture those beautiful bokeh images. The machine, Honor 7X, has 8 MP front shooter camera.
Unlike the predecessor Honor 6X, it has stepped up the game for mid-range budget phones by including IP67 dust and water proof features. Honor 7X runs on Android 7.1 Nougat and should be receiving the Oreo update in early ’18.
Honor 7X has rocks fingerprint scanner on its back as Honor 6X, and is available in three colors; Aurora Blue, Midnight Black, and Platinum Gold. For Chinese markets, the 32 GB model distributes for 1,299 yuan ($200), the 64 GB variant is priced at 1,699 yuan ($260), while the high-end option with 128 GB of storage will set you back 1,999 yuan ($305). Though the device will be going on sale in the selected markets from Dec 5th, the Honor 7X price is still undisclosed. But expected to go for same as the Honor 6X.
