Xiaomi had launched the two variants; 6GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB of Xiaomi Mi Note 3 a few months ago in September. Now, another cheaper version; 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage model joins the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 family, launched on this Monday.
The new and latest cheaper version Xiaomi Mi Note 3 sports all the same features and specs that of earlier launched 6GB variant. The device rocks 16MP secondary camera on front claimed to have AI-based beauty feature, and 12 MP rear dual camera setup. The dual-sim Xiaomi Mi Note 3 has a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) 403ppi display . The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 660 SoC clocked at up to 2.2GHz.
Connectivity options on board include 4G LTE, dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11c, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C. Sensors on board include accelerometer, gyroscope, digital compass, infrared sensor, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor. It measures 152.6 x 73.95 x 7.6mm and weighs 163 grams. Xiaomi Mi Note 3 features 3500mAh battery.
The earlier versions of Xiaomi Note 3; 6GB/64GB costs CNY 2,299 ($346) while the other one with double the storage capacity runs for CNY 2,699 ($406). Whereas the newly released 4GB/64GB goes for CNY 1,999 ($301).
This newly launched cheaper Mi Note 3 variant is expected to draw more customers, and comes in only pretty blue color option.
